What is the HydraFacial?
The HydraFacial is a gentle, non-invasive skin resurfacing treatment that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and antioxidant infusion to brighten, nourish and protect the skin, as well as improve texture, pore sizes and oily or acne-prone skin.
The HydraFacial is a great instant-gratification procedure for patients looking to brighten their skin and get that “glow!” Men and women of all ages and skin types can see significant benefits and results from this treatment. My HydraFacial Experience
When I walked into Seiler Skin, I was instantly impressed. It was nice, clean, white, relaxing and the staff were super sweet. They gave me a quick tour, a robe to change into and then I was seated in the waiting room with a yummy treat and a water.
When it was my turn, they greeted me and took back into the room. Once in the room Kala, the medical aesthetician, sat down with me and went over my medical history as well as any questions I had. After that, Dr. Warren Seiler came in and did my consultation. He looked at my skin, asked me what my main concerns were and things I wanted to treat. I told him my face had been breaking out really badly recently and that I needed something that was going to deep clean my skin so that it would stop breaking out. That is when Dr. Seiler recommend the HydraFacial! He told me about the procedure, as well as the benefits and results I could expect.
After that, it was time for the HydraFacial. Kala cleaned my skin and then she used the HydraFacial machine to perform the 4 - step process:
Step 1: Exfoliation

Deeply cleanses, exfoliates and removes dead skin cells.
Step 2: Glycolic acid and salicylic acid

Uses a mix of these two to help loosen deep pore debris and dirt.
Step 3: Extraction

Uses painless vacuum suction to extract black heads, and other impurities.
Step 4: Antioxidant Infusion

Delivers antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid to plump, hydrate, nourish and protect the skin.
The treatment was completely painless. It actually was really enjoyable! Haha- it felt like a wet vacuum was sucking all the bad things out while infusing products into my skin. The HydraFacial lasted about 30 mins and then Kala walked me into their skincare store. She had a whole line of medical-grade skincare products laid out for me based on my needs. She went through each step and created a daily skincare plan for me. Kala even wrote it all down so I would know when to use what products, so that I wouldn’t forget!

My HydraFacial Results
Immediately after the treatment, my skin was a little red but nothing I couldn’t cover up with make-up. By the next day, my skin was glowing and almost all my pimples were gone or reduced significantly in size. I would highly recommend the HydraFacial to anyone especially if you get it done at Seiler Skin. They are very professional and know what they’re doing!
