I am excited to share all my beach outfit ideas and things I packed for my trip to Destin two weeks ago! When it comes to packing, I am probably the worlds worst procrastinator. I procrastinated so bad this time that I didn’t even have a chance to pack all my stuff in a suitcase. Praise the Lord that we were driving and not flying and that my husband has a big truck with LOTS of room; otherwise, I don’t know what I would have done. Since I didn’t have time to pick out my outfits, I just grabbed a ton of clothes and decided I would pick out my outfits once I got there. I put all my toiletries, hair products, and makeup bag in a big basket. I gathered up all my favorite shoes and put them inside the empty suitcase in the back of my husband’s car. I put underwear, bras, swimsuits and casual clothes (t-shirts, running shorts and leggings) in a big tote. Grabbed a few packages that had come in, hoping they were the new spring clothes and shoes I had ordered from Shopbops big sale, and off we went. The stress and anxiety was real. I spent the first 2 hours of the car ride trying to organize everything and make sure I had everything I needed. Of course, I forgot a ton of stuff, but luckily my husband had to go home for a few things with work and brought everything that I had forgotten when he came back! LONG story short, I think I might have finally learned my lesson NOT to procrastinate when packing. I’m going to do lots of research on tips for packing smarter. Hopefully, I’ll learn some useful tips and tricks. Then I could do a blog post and share all the things I learned with you guys! Would you like that?
