If I had to choose, I am definitely a night owl, cause homegirl is NOT a morning person. First off, I have narcolepsy which means I have trouble staying awake during the day without medicine and waking up feels impossible every morning. Let me just give you a little insight of what my “waking up” consist of: I set at least 5 alarms just to make sure I hear one and wake up, then I very slowly wake up and take my medicine, then I go sit inΒ my living room, drink my coffee and listen to worship music on loud while I wait for my medicine to kick in, after about 20 min I am finally “awake” so I make breakfast, do my quiet time and go on about my day.Β WHEW… Now can you see why I like night time better? haha
On a more real note, I also love evening/ night time because that’s when my husband usually gets home. Which means we get to have quality time together whether it is going on a date, making dinner or hanging out with family and friends. My favorite part about night time is getting in bed, cuddling with my husband and watching Netflix. (If you watched our wedding video you probably remember me saying “I promise to snuggle you every night” in my vows.) I LOVE to snuggle!
Okay, enough rambling… let’s get to the fun stuff!
Night Time Routine Step 1:
I put my PJ’s on! Most days I put them on before 5:00 (#NoShame) I used to wear sweatpants and a t-shirt to bed until I found the MOST amazing silk pj’s ever!!! Ever since I bought them, I’ve worn them every night. Let’s just say comfy is a HUGE understatement. And they’re super cute on which is bonus, especially when you’re married π
I will have to say, they’re a little on the pricey side when it comes to PJ’s but every penny is worth it, I promise. I would have paid double if I had to and that’s saying a lot considering I’m a newlywed on a budget.
You can find the top here and the bottoms here. Β (top runs true to size, bottoms run a little big)
I am one of those girls who seems to always be cold especially when I am at home. Because I have a warm, blooded husband, who thinks it’s okay to make our house Antarctica. That being said, I am a sucker for warm sweatshirts, and this “Always More” sweatshirt from AUJ POJ shop is one of my favorites!
You can find it here. Β (I would say this sweatshirt runs a little small. I got one size up)

Β Night Time Routine Step 2:
I wash my face! I used to use Neutrogena makeup remover wipes until I tried Garnier micellar water and fell in love. It is very gentle on the skin,Β removes makeup, cleanses and refreshes. Just squirt it on a cotton pad and you’re good to go.
You can find it here.

Night Time Routine Step 3:
Moisturize! Okay, ya’ll this stuff is TO DIE FOR. When I first heard about this stuff I was hesitant to give it a try because I have always used cream/ lotion based moisturizers and these by FarsalΓ¬ are oil based. But after readingΒ multiple 5 star reviews, I knew I had to try it. And praise the Lord I did (insert praise hand emojis). There are two different kinds:
Rose Gold Elixir (white) – Β It recommends you use this one during the day but for months I used it day and night (until I decided to try the black one) and it worked perfectly fine! If you are trying to save money I would recommend buying this one first! Also, it smells amazing!Β #davidsays it smells like oranges lol
Volcanic Elixir (black) – This one is only for night time use. This one is thicker than the white one. So, I found this one to work better for me becauseΒ I have dry skin and need a little extra moisture at night time. I will have to say, it does have a strong earthy scent that I’m not too crazy about but the results are so worth it.

Night Time Routine Step 4:
I brush my teeth and put my retainers in! But that’s not fun or interesting to photograph so here are some cute pictures of my dog, Zola, instead!

I’m so so happy you started a blog. I truly look up to; given we have very similar lifestyles. In this day and age, it’s hard to find other young married couples.
