How to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Hi #TerkTribe! (Do y’all like this? You guys are my people, my tribe, so I thought it would be fun to give you guys a name… Let me know if you like it!)

I decided to do a last minute post talking about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because it’s a BIGGG deal. No seriously, it’s like one of the biggest days of the year in the retail world. In my opinion, it’s one of the best sales of the year! I promise im not just being dramatic…. people talk about how it’s bigger than Black Friday sales (WHATTTT!!!!) yeah, you heard that right. We don’t have much time, so let’s get right to it with the details.

WHAT is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

Like I said, its one of the biggest sales of the year. They mark down almost everything in the store up to 40% off and when you’re shopping things like handbags that 40% off makes a big difference my friends. WHEN is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

Early access for the Nordstrom Anniversary sale goes live at 12:01 AM PST on July 13th (Today!!!!), opens to the public on July 21st and will run until August 8th. If you can’t already tell, I am VERY excited about it. I will be posting multiple times per day, so brace yourselves.  Make sure to hop over and check my insta as often as possible, especially on Insta-stories. Today I’m heading to the Nordstrom in Atlanta (since we don’t have one here iBirminghamam, AL (insert crying emoji)). I’ll be posting lots of dressing room mirror selfies with all the best deals and TRUST ME you do NOT want to miss out! Items sell out incredibly fast. “Ashley, how do I get early access?” Let me tell you!

HOW do I access the Anniversary Sale?

The sale opens to the public on July 21st, BUT usually, by that time, a lot of the good stuff is sold. So if you want early access to shop the sale starting July 13th (TODAY!!!), you must become a Nordstrom Cardholder. I know what you’re thinking.. blah blah blah, and you’re probably rolling your eyes thinking “no way Ashley.” BUT (and this is a big ole but) in all honesty, this sale is so worth it. My husband David never lets me get cards because he thinks I will use them a little too much, but when I sat him down and explained how big of a deal this sale is, and how much I’ll save with the all the benefits, he was happy to let me open a Nordstrom Card! Probably the only card he will ever let me get (haha) but to me, the points, the benefits and early access to the sale, is enough to make it so worth it. So, for all you ladies with anti-card opening husbands like mine, there is hope! AND if you don’t want the credit card, they have a debit card option too! Either way, you will need to be some sort of cardholder (apply here!) to get early access to the sale.

What are the BEST products to snag during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale?

Here is a list of items I recommend getting while they are on sale:

• Christmas & Birthday presents. (This is the perfect way to WOW those loved ones without going over budget)
• Home/Interior (Time to stock up on those candles for the year, can I get an Amen?!)
• Beauty products
• Make-up (I REPEAT MAKE-UP! Girls, can we all agree make-up is way too expensive? This is yet another reason to hop on that sale ASAP)
• Cardigans & Sweaters
• Jeans
• Workout clothes & Tennis shoes
• Booties (Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, a lot of the new stuff they bring out for the sale is fall items!)
• Jewelry
• Underwear & Bras (I feel awkward… I hope no boys are reading this haha)
• Mens (Perfect time to up your husband’s wardrobe!)
