Welcome to the world, Ryser Sidney Hodges! We already love you so much!! I was induced Wednesday night, September 5th, and Ryser made his grand entrance 22 hours later on Thursday, September 6th at 4:44 pm!
His birth was everything opposite of what we had planned, but it turned out to be perfect in the end! Throughout the whole process, God’s hand was so evidently present.
I stared down at the tattoo on my forearm that reads “thy will be done” every hour for 22+ hours. David was by my side the whole time, and together we passed the hours declaring and believing, “not my will Lord, but Yours be done,” until we held our sweet angel in our arms for the first time.
I am so grateful for the support of my family and friends! I know all of their prayers made a difference. I felt so much peace and I know it was the Lord! We are so in love and so excited about this new season.
